There are few things that get me more excited than sharing my knowledge of and love for technology with others, whether that be in the capacity of mentor, teacher, or coworker, i feel privileged to have the opportunity yo change lives by inducing learning .
EXPERIENCES
Team Lead @ Drift Net
As the Engineering Team Lead at Drift Net Securities, I took pride in mentoring my team of eight, which included a diverse mix of developers, designers, and a QA engineer. Two of my team members began as interns, and through guidance and support, they transitioned into full-time roles. I worked closely with one intern, helping them complete their bootcamp and achieve certification, marking a pivotal step in their career. For me, mentoring went beyond management—while management involves overseeing tasks, mentoring is about listening, being humble, and understanding that good ideas can come from anyone on the team. I always encouraged collaboration by being open to feedback and creating an environment where asking for help was seen as a strength. By acting as a sounding board and taking an active interest in their personal growth, I advocated for initiatives like a company-wide leadership course at the request of one of my team members, aligning opportunities with their career aspirations.

Academic Approach
While working as a software engineer, I felt something was missing from my career and sought out opportunities to educate and inspire young learners. This led me to Academic Approach, where I mentored and tutored students in computer science, precalculus, AP calculus, and ACT/SAT test preparation. Through personalized guidance, I helped students build confidence and mastery in challenging subjects. My experience allowed me to combine my technical expertise with a passion for teaching, fulfilling my desire to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
